Vicars Close Restoration Work
It was a great privilege, at short notice, to have the opportunity to visit the skilled stone masons at Ellis & Co (Restoration & Building) to document some of the work relating to the Vicars Close restoration project in Wells. We were made so welcome by Martin, Peter and Mike as they showed us their current skilled work on reconstructing one of the vicars close chimneys using Bath Stone.
